Social
Kaira
A decentralized social network on Lens Protocol.
Users & job-to-be-done
Creators who want a portable audience graph, and members who gather around topics rather than vanity profiles.
Problem
Web2 social extracts value from creators and locks the follow graph inside the platform. Build the network, leave with nothing.
Insight
If content and graph are on-chain, and rewards hit meaningful interaction, topics can become the growth unit — not celebrity profiles.
Bet
Lens-based social with topic communities, token reward loops, AI discovery feed, and an ecosystem partnership flywheel.
My role
Co-Founder & Product Lead: owned roadmap, topic graph, incentive design, DeFi reward loops, AI feed and partnership motion. Cross-functional with eng, community, Lens ecosystem partners and Workup (Türkiye İş Bankası incubator).
Journey
- Discover: AI-personalized and topic-based feed
- Join: enter topic communities (core unit)
- Contribute: post/interact with on-chain ownership
- Earn & govern: reward loops + token governance
Tradeoffs
- Topics as the core unit, not profiles.
- On-chain graph plus rewards tied to real interaction.
- Ecosystem partnerships over pure paid UA.
Validation
- Ecosystem proof: #4 app on Lens at peak.
- Scale: 50K+ community, 16.5K+ active users, 1,500+ topics.
- Institutional signal: Workup incubation and $100K raise context.
Outcome
North star: Active topic communities with portable creator graphs
A creator-owned graph and reward economy that became one of the largest apps in the Lens ecosystem, earned institutional backing, and migrated toward Lens Network (zkSync).
Learning
Consumer crypto social can scale with incentives and ecosystem leverage — and still need a clean chapter close when the market and protocol landscape shift. Leadership here was roadmap, community trust and partnership continuity, not just feature velocity.
Skills & know-how
What this proves: that I can lead a consumer product from zero to ecosystem-scale (#4 on Lens) — owning graph, incentives, community and partnerships — and close the chapter with clear-eyed product judgment.
